ABB is pleased to announce the release of the UL 1449 3rd Edition approved OVR DIN rail surge protective devices.

 

This new product range is approved as Type 4 recognized components, usable in Type 2 applications. These parts will bear the UR mark. These products are of the same high quality as ABB 2nd Edition devices, with improved safety as a result of additional testing required by UL 1449 3rd Edition.

 

Product Range

The new OVR DIN rail series includes devices ranging from 1-Pole to 3-Pole+neutral, capable of protecting AC networks up to 600V. Maximum discharge current ratings of 15 and 40kA are available. Remote monitoring is available with the "TS" option. All devices have replaceable cartridges for ease of maintenance.
