Tri-Barrier Strip Comes With Safety Cover
Harrisburg, PA - Feb. 3, 2005 - Tyco Electronics recently introduced BUCHANAN brand .325-inch centerline tri-barrier strips equipped with a safety cover. This new product can be used in printed circuit board power I/O applications across a number of industries including industrial controls, power supplies, HVAC, test equipment, telecom and other general-purpose use. The safety cover is clear plastic and allows the terminal contact screw to be loosened and tightened through an access hole. Additionally, the cover is hinged to the barrier strip base and provides convenient access to the wire entry of the contact clamp.
.325-inch tri-barrier strips with safety covers are molded to length from UL 94V-0 black thermoplastic in sizes ranging from 2 to 8 contact positions. Each contact carries a 15A, 300 VAC/VDC current rating. The standard SEMS screw accepts bare copper wire (stranded or solid) from 22 to 14 AWG and can be fastened with a #2 Phillips or standard slotted screwdriver. Contact material is tin-plated brass.
This product is RoHS compatible.
