The Coiltronics® Power over Ethernet (PoE) PD configurable transformer from Cooper Electronic Technologies, a business unit of Cooper Bussmann, features a versatile design that allows for multiple output variations and three power levels; four-, seven- and 13-watts.
These transformers are IEEE 802.3af-compliant for Power over Ethernet applications. Additional uses include: UPS, VoiP Phone, wireless LAN, Access point, Bluetooth Access point, network camera, building access systems, retail Point-of-Information systems and vending/gaming machines. These isolated flyback transformers are intended for use in the Powered Device (PD) applications of Power over Ethernet applications. Isolation between primary and secondary is 1500 VAC in compliance with the IEEE 802.3af standard.
Operating ambient temperature range is -40° C to +85° C (range is application specific). The PD configurable transformer is available in tape and reel packaging (four- and seven-watts at 200 parts per 13-inch reel and 13-watts at 140 parts per 13-inch reel).
