TORONTO, Canada — August 22, 2011, — The Edac Group of Companies is pleased to announce the expansion of our line of Waterproof Connectors.
This new expanded line of IP67 Waterproof Connectors is available in both Wire-Wire and Wire-Board versions and is designed for both extreme moisture and submersion applications. The new offering includes our 565-566-567-568 and 570 Series.
The series supports low-level signal impedance up to 12.0A and power requirements up to 300V. The pitch sizes are available in 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 5.8mm and 5.9mm.
The operating temperature range is -40° to +105° C.
Design features include a simple crimp and poke application, interface seals designed and tested to IP67 rating, compatible with UL 28-14 awg cable and the availability of waterproof caps for the 565 and 566 series. The series also incorporates integral locking tabs, a keying system and visual confirmation of proper sealing.
Custom pre-assembled cable assemblies are also available.
Some of the applicable markets include Medical, Industrial, Vending and Recreation. The most common applications are Patient Monitoring equipment, Outdoor Lighting, Processing Equipment, Food Service, Drink Dispenser, Marine, Snowmobiles, ATV, Hot Tubs and Pool Equipment.
