BROOKLYN PARK, MN - The new EG1260 series of miniature slide switches from E-Switch features two optional SMT mounting configurations and three slide actuator sizes for a wide variety of printed circuit board applications. Designed with an electrical life of 10,000 cycles, the SPDT EG1260 series is rated at 0.3 A at 4 VDC with an operating temperature ranging from -10°C to +60°C.

For maximum mounting rigidity, switch models EG1260AS, BS and CS have four grounded mounting tabs that can be soldered to the printed circuit board. All models are designed with chamfered locating pins for quick and accurate mounting using automated machinery.

Overall switch dimensions are H = 1.40 mm (0.055 in); W = 2.70 mm (0.106 in); L = 6.70 mm (.264 in). Switch actuation force is rated at 150 grams +/- 100 grams with a typical actuator travel of 1.5 mm (0.089 in). All switches in the EG1260 series have silver plated contacts with an initial resistance of 0.070 ohms and an insulation resistance of 100 megohms. Dielectric strength is 100 VAC.
