Sealed Rocker Switch From E-Switch Features Right-Angle SMT Mounting

BROOKLYN PARK, MN - The low-profile design of the new 400B Series process sealed SMT rocker switch from E-Switch permits right-angle mounting along the edges of circuit boards. The actuator is designed to project beyond the circuit board far enough to be accessible through an enclosure or instrument case slot, reducing the need for expensive remote wiring. The 400B Series process sealed SMT Rocker switch has an electrical life of 6,000 cycles and a mechanical life of 50,000 cycles.

To cover the broadest range of functional applications, five different options are available for the three rocker positions: ON-None-ON; ON-None-MOM; ON-OFF-ON; MOM-OFF-MOM; and ON-OFF-MOM. Switches in this series are available with either silver- or gold-plated contacts. Silver contacts are rated 3 A @ 120 VAC or 1 A @ 28 VDC. Gold contacts are rated at 0.4 volt-amperes @ 20 V AC or DC. Initial contact resistance is a maximum of 0.02 ohms.

Overall switch dimensions are: H = 5.70 mm (0.224 in); W = 8.25 mm (0.325 in); L = 19.27 mm (0.759 in). Operating temperature ranges from -30C to +85C. Dielectric strength is 1000 VAC.
