Los Angeles, CA - Kingbright Corporation launches its new 3.5 x 2.8mm Chip SMD LED with Dome Lens (APETD3528 package) in high reliability ideally suited for various backlighting applications such as switches, displays, and general lighting. The LED has a narrow viewing angle at 60° providing focused beams with enhanced brightness. Available in blue, green, yellow, orange, red, the device operates at maximum driving current of 30mA for green, blue, and 50mA for yellow, orange, red. The product uses 4 soldering pads offering compatible footprint to industry standard 3.5 x 2.8mm PLCC-4 package. The package is automation tape & reel friendly and compatible with standard reflow soldering processes to reduce production costs.
