Kycon History

Kycon, Inc. began operations in 1988 with the goal of supplying cost effective interconnect solutions of the highest quality and with the best delivery record in the industry. The company operates from its headquarters in San Jose, California, with sales representatives and distributors throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Kycon’s impressive year-to-year increase in sales reflects the company’s steadily growing product line, custom design capability, and customer service orientation.

A Growing Product Line

Kycon’s first products were D-Subminiature connectors for the PC, peripheral, industrial control and test equipment industries. As new applications merged, Kycon continually expanded their product offering to cover most I/O applications. Stereo Jacks, Modular Jacks, DC Power Jacks, RCA Jacks, Mini Dins, Optical Audio Jacks, USB and IEEE 1394 Firewire connectors were all introduced to meet the needs of ever changing I/O applications. The newest products offered from Kycon include HDMI™ Connectors, Board-to-Board connectors, PCI Express®, and a panel mount DC Power Jack. Kycon will continue to add to our product line, while maintaining world class service and support that has consistently earned us Bishop's top rankings for customer satisfaction.
