Rugged construction and wider temperature range provide added benefits
Upgrading their TRIE Series, Transducers USA now provides replacement for the competitive PMB, YMP and SMB alerts previously available from other suppliers.
The newly designed case of Noryl plastic is mechanically bonded for high impact and a wide temperature tolerance. These upgraded audio alerts are eminently suitable for off-the-road vehicles, snow mobiles, mobile automotive equipment, semi trailers, portable battery powered equipment, or for any application facing extreme weather conditions.
The TRIE Series, with an operating temperature range of -40 to +175°F, produces a high sound output of an attention getting 95dB at 400Hz within a voltage range of 8–16 Vdc @45mA.
A variety of terminations is also available including quick connect tabs, PC terminals and a choice of wire leaded types. Off white is standard case color.
The Transducers USA's Upgraded TRIE Series Audio Alert buzzers are in stock for prototype quantities with production requirements quoted at 4 – 6 weeks ARO.
