SCHRACK PB Series Relays Offer Low Cost And Compact Size

Tyco Electronics has introduced the SCHRACK PB series relay. The new product, capable of handling loads up to 10A, is a low-cost, miniature, printed circuit board relay. The footprint is 15x15mm with a height of 20mm. This small size allows for high density PCB mounting.
The SCHRACK PB relay is available with 1 form A (Single Pole, Single Throw-Normally Open) or 1 form C (Single Pole, Double Throw) contacts. SCHRACK PB series relays are suitable for use in housewares, major appliances, door openers, HVAC equipment, vending machines, power supplies, security systems and many other industrial/commercial applications.
SCHRACK PB series relays are available with 6, 12, or 24 VDC coils. Contacts are silver nickel and are rated for a maximum load of 10A at 240VAC. Contact-to-contact dielectric strength is 1000Vrms with contact-to-coil dielectrics rated at 2500Vrms. Clearance distance is 3mm while creepage distance is 4mm. The splash-resistant plastic case is made of UL 94V-0 material.
