Barry Sauer, President
With over 40 years experience at Relay Specialties, Barry is a "hands on" executive. Barry built his first relay at the age of 12 and has worked his way up from sweeping the floors to the penthouse suite (which is located in the middle of the sales room). Being involved in all aspects of the company's operations, his working knowledge of what our customer's wants and needs are, is unparalleled in the industry. A graduate of Northeastern University (around the same time as the inventor of "Napster"), Barry has been steadily employed at Relay Specialties ever since.


Steve Gershberg, Executive Vice President
A thirty-five year veteran at Relay Specialties, Steve Gershberg, Vice President, monitors Sales, Marketing, quality issues, and supports the company's IT efforts. For the past 25 years, he has also been responsible for compiling and printing the Relay Specialties catalog. Starting in 1970 with a BS Degree from the University of Tennessee and then obtaining a MS Degree from New York University in 1972 in Electrical Engineering, Steve also supports the Technical Sales Team of Relay Specialties and all customer sales, whether it is the large OEM or the small MRO. His most recent efforts were involved in updating the company's computer system, installing two new servers, networking the company's inside and outside sales forces, developing a new web site with shopping cart and inventory checking capabilities, and building a state-of-the-art computer system, to better serve our customers.


Ken Cohen, VP, National Sales Manager
Ken Cohen has been a part of the Relay Specialties team for over 26 years. A graduate of Rutgers University, Ken joined the company in 1979 as their in-house Advertising Coordinator; researching, compiling and assembling their trademark catalog. His responsibilities quickly evolved into the sales and marketing arena, and was named Sales Manager in 1984. In his current position as National Sales Manager, Ken is responsible for the coordination of sales efforts between all branches of Relay Specialties though marketing, sales strategies, manufacturer's training, and customer service relationships. Ken is also involved with quality control, value-added services, as well as personally covering many key accounts.


Tom D'Allesantro, Vice President of Strategic Planning
Tom D'Allesantro has over thirty years of experience in the electronics industry, having spent the last eleven years with Relay Specialties. His background includes sales and marketing management positions with the former C&K / Unimax, Sorensen Lighted Controls and EAO Switch. He is the former president of Tschudin & Heid, Inc., which he helped to establish in the United States. In his role with Relay Specialties he helps to coordinate the outside sales effort in New England and the Mid-Atlantic region. He also serves in an advisory capacity on market and product trends and sales strategies to the Relay executive team.
