APEM's extensive lines of security guards are ruggedly built to prevent accidental toggle switch operation. Models are available for 2 and 3 position switches with 15/32" (11.9mm) threaded bushings with slotted or flatted keyways. Various configurations are available to lock the switch actuator in either extreme position, or the center position. These positions correspond to ON or OFF switch states

Series 20 through 80 models are larger units with a matte black support plate and thermoset plastic security cap which is available in 8 cosmetic color selections and 1 color striped selection for various coding or cosmetic needs. The closed size for these models is .551" wide x .866" high x 1.550" long.

Series 90 models are smaller units with a matte black support plate and steel security cap which is available also in 8 cosmetic color selections, as well as 4 color striped selections. Color striped selections are especially suitable for use in hazard warning applications. The closed size for these models is .708" wide x .472" high x .866" long.

All models feature a snap locking security cap that locks in either the open or closed positions. In the open position the switch actuator operates in all positions freely, while in the closed position, the switch actuator is locked in the desired position.

Security guards are easily installed to the switch bushing from the front panel with the 2 height adjust-ment and mounting hex nuts provided.
