New Matrix AP Harmonic Filter

MTE Corporation announces the release for sale of the Matrix AP Harmonic Filter. Using MTE's new innovative adaptive passive technology*, the Matrix AP Harmonic Filter achieves better THID performance over a wider range and especially lowers harmonic distortion at lower loads. The most advanced harmonic filter, it provides improved power quality and energy efficiency.

 

Benefits include:

  • Guarantees THID performance of 8% MAX at 30% load, 5% MAX at full load.
  • Requires fewer capacitors and maintains 99%+ efficiency.
  • Generates less heat / no fans required.
  • Reduces energy costs with improved system efficiency and reliability.
  • Extends service life cycle of electrical equipment.
  • Eliminates the need for additional reactors and the requirement to change drive parameters.
  • Helps meet IEEE-519 Requirements (5% THID) when used at lighter loads.

  • Compatible with generator systems.
  • Available in open panel NEMA 1 / 2 and NEMA 3R.
