Tariff Notification

To Our Valued Customers,

As you may be aware, on June 15th, 2018, the Government imposed a 25% tariff under Section 301 of the US Trade Act on a vast number of products manufactured in China. This imposed tariff is currently scheduled to take effect on July 6th, 2018 for all product that ships to locations in the United States.

Relay Specialties is sensitive to the impact of this cost burden. If the proposed tariff is implemented, Relay Specialties will add a 20% tariff surcharge on affected products. Unless otherwise notified, this additional charge will be invoiced as a separate line effective July 9th, 2018.

This charge will only be billed when Relay Specialties has been charged a tariff on the material being shipped.

If the tariff is cancelled prior to July 6th, 2018, you will not see any tariff surcharges on your invoices. If the tariff is cancelled on a date after July 6th, 2018, you may see some invoices include the tariff surcharge as our inventory may have been subjected to the tariff. Once the material in-stock that was impacted has been depleted, the tariff surcharge will no longer apply.

Relay Specialties values your business and hopeful the tariff is removed soon. If you have any questions we encourage you to contact the Relay Specialties sales department.

Thank you for your understanding.
