Tariff Notification

To Our Valued Customers,

Relay Specialties continues to monitor U.S. and international trade policy on behalf of our customers. From time to time, the U.S. Government or foreign authorities impose or modify tariffs, customs duties, anti-dumping duties, countervailing duties, and other trade-related measures — including but not limited to Section 201, Section 232, and Section 301 tariffs — on the products we distribute or on the components and materials used to produce them.

Where a manufacturer, supplier, freight carrier, customs broker, or governmental authority assesses any such charge on products supplied by Relay Specialties, we reserve the right to pass those charges through to the buyer as a separately identified line item on the applicable invoice, at the rate actually assessed to Relay Specialties. This surcharge is applied only when Relay Specialties has itself been charged the underlying tariff or duty on the material being shipped.

Because tariff rates change — sometimes on short notice — the surcharge may be applied to open, unshipped, or pending orders when the underlying tariff is imposed or increased after the order was placed. When a tariff is subsequently rescinded or reduced, Relay Specialties will discontinue the corresponding surcharge once inventory that was subject to the original charge has been depleted.

For international shipments, the buyer is the importer of record and is responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, and customs clearance charges in the destination country, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

This tariff policy operates in conjunction with our full Terms and Conditions, including Section 4a (Tariff, Duty, and Surcharge Policy). For questions about a specific invoice or order, please contact our sales department at sales@relayspec.com or 201-337-1000.

Thank you for your continued business.

Sincerely,

Barry Sauer
