Aliso Viejo, California - American Zettler, Inc. announces their model AZ757 PC-mount power relay with quick-connects has just received two new ratings from UL - 20 A at 250 VAC General Use and 1.5 HP at 250 VAC. Both ratings are for 100,000 cycles at an ambient temperature of 85°C. The AZ757 gives the designer the standard PC connections for the coil with quick-connects for the contacts. The Slimpak® Design of the AZ757 takes up less than 0.5 square inches of PCB space to allow high-density placement. The AZ757 has a high dielectric rating of 5kV (contact to coil), and a 10kV surge rating. Class B insulation (130°C) is standard, with Class F insulation (155°C) as an option. Coil voltages are available in 5 through 24 VDC. The AZ757 is available in a sealed version for automatic wave soldering and cleaning operations.
