LOW PROFILE & WAVE SOLDERABLE MINIATURE TOGGLE SWITCHES

APEM's 21000 Series single and double pole printed circuit mounting toggle switches feature a low profile common height of only .307" above the p.c. board surface, have flush detented epoxy sealed terminals, and are wave solderable for ease of assembly.

 

These sleek models with distinctive and cosmetic blue PBT case have standard .200" terminal mounting grid and a rigidly attached mounting bracket for added retention strength. Nickel plated brass bushings, either 1/4 -40 threaded or smooth are optional. The threaded bushing models, suitable for edge mounting on a printed circuit board adjacent to a panel, are supplied with 2 hex mounting nuts. All models come with the standard .450" long slim bat actuator.

 

Five electrical configurations are offered and include the 2 position On-On and On-MOM, and the 3 position ON-OFF-ON, MOM-OFF-MOM and ON-OFF-MOM. Electrical ratings are 2 amps at 250 VAC, 4 amps at 125 VAC or 30 VDC. Other electricals include initial contact resistance of 20 milliohms max., 1000 megohms min. insulation resistance and dielectric strength of 1000 V rms between terminals or 2000 V rms between poles and metal parts. Electrical life for all models is 20,000 cycles minimum at rated loads.

 

Case size for the single pole is.433" w, and .826" w for the double pole. The length and height for both are the same, .669' long and .307" high. Bushing length is .275" for all models.

 

The 21000 switches not only will provide reliable switching with long electrical life, but also, appealing enhancement due to their uniformly consistent shape and cosmetic case color.
