APEM s G series miniature slide switches are ideal for applications in business and medical machines, various instrumentation, computer peripherals and telecommunications equipment, and many others because of their small size, optional mounting configurations and optimal ratings. Available in either single or double pole, the body size for the single pole is .262"w x .500"l x .250"d, while the double pole measures .449"w x .500"l x .299"d. Switch actions offered are double throw On On or On Off On and all feature break before make contacts. 6 optional configurations are available. They include panel mounting, straight p.c. mounting without bracket, 2 versions of straight p.c. mounting with bracket, right angle horizontal p.c. mounting and right angle vertical p.c. mounting.

Either gold or silver contacts can be selected. The contact rating with the gold contacts is 0.4 volt amps max. at 20V (AC or DC), or for silver, 4A at 125VAC, 2A at 250VAC or 3A at 30VDC. The electrical life (for gold contact models) is 60,000 cycles minimum. Initial contact resistance is 10 milliohms max. and dielectric strength is 1000V rms minimum. Models are designed for operation in a temperature range of 30 C to 85 C.

Materials used for the G series models are P.E.S high temperature thermoplastic case, glass filled polyamide actuator and stainless steel cover plate. All models also feature epoxy terminal seal for protection against contamination during installation and after cleaning.
