New liquid level switch - MS series
Cynergy3 released a new range of cable end level switches The MS series is designed for use in covered tanks with non-turbulent water and fairly constant temperature. The switch element is capable of switching up to 10 Amps at up to 250Vac and the level switch can operate at depths down to 100metres.
The outer body of this switch is manufactured in blow-moulded polyethylene, while the switch element is surrounded by a non-hygroscopic closed cell foam. The level switch is supplied, as standard, with a PVC sheathed 3-core cable but is also available with Polyurethane sheathed cable for use in fuel oils.
The mode of operation is that the switch is either tethered by its cable at some suitable point in the tank or the optional counterweight, supplied with each switch, is positioned on the cable. The switch then pivots in an arc around this point, as the liquid level rises and falls, and, as the switch angle passes 15 degrees above or below the horizontal, the switch will change state.
